My Bio
Kerry Hatcher is a husband, father of three, volunteer, and Lead Software Engineer with a lifelong connection to Macon. As a former special education student and now a parent of children with IEPs, he understands how deeply school decisions affect real families. Kerry is running to bring practical leadership, honest communication, and a strong commitment to community partnership so Macon-Bibb’s schools work better for every student.

Government Transparency
Transparency builds trust. I believe the public should have easy, real-time access to how school funds are spent and how decisions are made. Accountability starts with sharing information openly, because our community deserves nothing less.
Education
After-school programs give students a safe, structured place to learn and grow beyond the classroom. By expanding access to these programs, we can strengthen academic performance, reduce crime, and build stronger connections between schools and the community.
Fiscal Responsibility
Strong schools drive economic growth. By using resources wisely and maintaining fiscal discipline, we can strengthen our public education system without creating an excessive tax burden that discourages growth. A well-managed, respected school district is one of the best investments we can make to attract families and industry to Macon-Bibb County.
